"Fact" daily writes:
According to our information, a letter was delivered to the government in the name of Nikol Pashinyan on behalf of the "All-Armenian Front" movement founded by the former Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Major General Arshak Karapetyan and the families of the missing, forcibly abducted and captives.
However, no substantive response was received, and the letter was forwarded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Defense, which, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are inactive and do not carry out any targeted activities to solve the problem, the biggest proof of which is the lack of results.
And here, the Pan-Armenian Front movement, not being satisfied with the activities of both the government and its individual units, again addressed to Nikol Pashinyan several demands that he, as the head of the government of the Republic of Armenia, is obliged to implement in order to protect the captivity and for the protection of the legal rights of persons held hostage.
And what questions and demands are being put forward?First of all, why does the Republic of Armenia not take concrete and public steps in the direction of raising the issue of prisoners, missing persons, and forcibly abducted persons and resolving their return?
Second, why does the Republic of Armenia not conduct official negotiations with the authorities of Azerbaijan to resolve the issue of prisoners, missing persons, forcibly abducted persons?
"The explanation that these negotiations are conducted in secrecy and their process is not subject to publication could be convincing if they had results, while now it is already clear that it is a simple trick to put the issue to sleep," the movement believes.
HRH also raises the question of how Nikol Pashinyan treats Armenian prisoners and forcibly abducted persons in Baku prisons. "We have the impression that you personally and your government are not only not interested in the release of these persons, but on the contrary, you see them as possible political rivals and even opponents who can reveal the anti-national face of your government in the conditions of freedom.
To dispel some valid doubts, perhaps tell us what exactly you did after December 13, 2023 to return the captives.
The question is also raised as to whether the issue of captives, missing persons, forcibly abducted persons was discussed during the UN summits and meetings with the UN Secretary General, what steps were taken with the European Union, OSCE and other international organizations to use their mediation the possibilities for solving the above-mentioned problems, what lawsuits have been filed in international courts regarding captives, missing persons, forcibly abducted persons, and finally, which international structures will be applied for additional for support.
