Today, August 6, a big fire broke out in Yerevan. Around 9:10 p.m., the 112 operational control center of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs was alerted that a fire had broken out in a landfill located in the well-known 3rd village in Yerevan's Silikyan district.
As reportedphotojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, 2 units from the Yerevan fire-rescue squads arrived at the scene.
Fire and smoke can be seen from several kilometers away.
At the moment, firefighters are fighting against the spread of the fire.
