In the last 48 hours, two groups of migrants arrived by boat from Morocco to the port of Spain's Algeciras region. "RIA Novosti" was informed by the law enforcement officer of the city.
"This morning, the emergency service received an alert about the arrival of a boat with migrants. At the moment, we have not yet found out how many people were on the boat," said the interlocutor of the agency.
The police found the abandoned boat with which the Moroccans reached the Spanish shores near the Punta Carnero lighthouse. They did not find the migrants either near the boat or in the surrounding area. The search continues.
