In the second half of the current year, the volume of world pork trade will remain stable in general, despite the structural changes.
"The export structure is changing. European market share has declined due to disease-related issues and weakening demand from China, while Brazil has rapidly increased its share. At the same time, the import structure is also changing. Mexico and the Philippines have significantly increased imports, while China has reduced volumes," the authors note.
