On August 1, at 05:37, the Ministry of Internal Affairs 112 operational control center was alerted that water was flooding into the basement of one of the buildings in Davtashen 4th district of Yerevan.
One combat unit from the fire-rescue squad of the rescue department of the Yerevan city of the Ministry of Internal Affairs went to the scene of the incident.
It was found that the water pipe in the yard was damaged, as a result of which the water poured into the basement under high pressure.
The rescuers removed about 25 tons of water from the basement.
