Lack of confidence in the future against the background of total dissatisfaction with the government. "Fact"

"Fact" daily writes:

The Artsakh war and the tragic events that followed it caused deep disappointment among the Armenian society.

No matter how many attempts are made to convince people that "there is a future", all the same, citizens have no expectations of their bright future.

Moreover, people have very ominous expectations, although the authorities spare no effort to reassure the citizens that they should be patient, everything will be fine, a peace treaty will be signed soon, we will "start trading" with Azerbaijanis and Turks, and as a result of all this, the economy of Armenia will begin to develop very quickly, and people will begin to live a more prosperous life, Armenia's sovereignty will be further strengthened, because external players used the Artsakh conflict and "threw us like a mesh to this side and then to that side".

But time passes, and the situation around Armenia becomes more complicated and difficult.

Under these conditions, skepticism about the future of the country takes deeper roots, on the one hand, apathy arises among people, and on the other hand, distrust of politics and dissatisfaction with the actions of the authorities in general, because they are not capable of anything except making concessions.

And this image is also reflected in the case of public opinion polls. Polls conducted by GALLUP International showed that almost 58% of respondents are dissatisfied with the activities of the RA Prime Minister. in particular, 41.5% of respondents evaluate the activities of the Prime Minister "generally negatively", and 16.1% - "rather negatively".

Let's add that 7.9% found it difficult to answer the question. However, what is more worrying here is the fact that the activity of the head of the government, which brought so many troubles, destructions and losses, was assessed by 14.1% as "completely positive", and 20.4% as "rather positive".

In other words, it turns out that 34% of our society still considers this whole disaster to be normal.

Surveys reflect that, in general, the activities of the RA government are also negatively evaluated.

That is why 20.9% of the respondents evaluate it as "rather negative", 35.4% "generally negative".

In other words, 56.3% evaluated the government's activity negatively. In addition, polls show public distrust towards the steps taken by the government.

Thus, 23.4% of respondents rather do not believe, and 41.2% definitely do not believe that signing a peace treaty with Azerbaijan is possible before the end of the year.

Or, 51.5% of the public has a negative attitude towards the fact that the Constitutional Court considers the mention of Artsakh in the Declaration of Independence as having no legal force, and 21.3% consider this approach rather negative.

In other words, in general, 72.8% rated it negatively, which is an impressive number in itself. Pashinyan's government constantly convinces the public that it is necessary to make concessions.

And to the question whether Armenia should make concessions in order to establish closer relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey, 90% of respondents answered negatively, stating that we have nothing more to concede.

Admit that this is also an impressive number. Moreover, it should be taken into account that these surveys were carried out by a Western organization.

And no matter how much the West tries to pamper the RA authorities, it has not been possible to hide the situation in the public mood.

In other words, the real sentiments are so negative towards these authorities that even "Gallup" had to show a negative "balance".

In fact, public dissatisfaction with the activities of the authorities is widespread, and the steps taken by the authorities, including concessions, do not enjoy public legitimacy.

And it is no coincidence that the most independent polls show a very sad picture for the authorities.
