The road leading to the Upper Lars checkpoint from Georgia to Russia and vice versa has been opened for all types of vehicles.

The information was given to Sputnik Armenia by Vahan Hakobyan, the customs attaché of the RA Embassy in Russia.

"Traffic on the Gudauri-Kob section of the international Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars highway has been restored for all types of vehicles," Hakobyan said.
