French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Germany on a state visit. The French President participated in the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Basic Law of the GDR in Berlin. On the first day of the visit, Macron said the two countries should further strengthen their partnership at a "decisive" moment for Europe. A meeting between the head of France and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is also planned near Berlin.
