On April 21, RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan received NATO Secretary General's Special Representative in the Caucasus and Central Asia, Kevin Hamilton.
The interlocutors emphasized with satisfaction the active dynamics of the political dialogue between Armenia and NATO. The projects aimed at the expansion of mutual partnership were discussed, an important component of which is support for reforms and democratic development implemented by Armenia.
Minister Mirzoyan presented the latest regional developments, as well as the steps taken in the direction of the regulation of relations with the neighbors and the further institutionalization of peace.
Referring to the topic of regional interdependence, the interlocutors emphasized that in the conditions of new realities, the South Caucasus can play the role of a connecting bridge. This is also expressed in the "Crossroads of Peace" project presented by RA.
At the meeting, ideas were exchanged on issues related to international security, as well as cooperation on multilateral platforms.
