"Politically, they have a capitulant position, for them there is no value that cannot be surrendered for the sake of power." "Fact"

"Fact" daily writes:

"What happened and will still happen in Gyumri is quite a typical way of working during Nikol Pashinyan's time.

This government, which considers itself a democratic government and declares that they no longer falsify elections in Armenia, has chosen a rather unique model," said Vigen Hakobyan, a civil technologist, in an interview with "Past", referring to the resignation of the mayor of Gyumri.

Opinions are circulating that the current government wants to have full political presence in Armenia's second largest city as well, and these are the consequences of its certain actions.

The political technologist believes that the process of the elections, the elections themselves, even the announcement of the results are taking place without very visible or serious election violations.

"But, in fact, it does not matter whether there are democratic elections in Armenia or not, they can be democratic according to their process, but if the result does not satisfy the authorities, then they do not recognize it, they revise it using different force methods, if the winning candidate does not breaks, then they arrest him or by some mechanisms, with different types of bribes, by intimidation, change the ratio in the council of elders, and change the results of the elections in their favor.

In Armenia, it doesn't matter how the elections went and who counted the results. Does it matter who is elected?

If a non-governmental candidate or political force is elected, it is subjected to persecution, the winning candidate becomes a political prisoner, as happened in the case of the mayor of Vanadzor Mamikon Aslanyan, we saw what happened in Alaverdi and elsewhere.

In the Yerevan elections, the balance of political forces changed as a result of various manipulations and force actions.

In other words, after the publication of the results of the elections, the press mechanism is put into action, forces are brought to power who are candidates for Nikol Pashinyan's heart," our interlocutor notes.

He does not rule out that this could be a preparation for early elections. "From the beginning of the year, the government is preparing for both regular and possible extraordinary elections, depending on the political situation and geopolitical conjuncture.

Nikol Pashinyan started visiting marzes from the first days of January, humiliation of subordinates, hangers and shower shows were organized, etc.

This is done especially in marzes, where the population is more depoliticized and less informed, because only "First Channel" receives information about what is happening in the country.

Therefore, he visits marzes, tries to strengthen his administrative resource, structures, political team. He is preparing for regular or extraordinary developments.

Starting from the government members to the local governments, he tries to appoint obedient and dedicated personnel to the positions.

Gyumri is an important hub, and it would be a luxury for them to have a local government there, whose loyalty they have doubts about.

If a government used to be pro-republican, now it has become pro-republican, it can change its color at any time with the same success.

That's why they couldn't allow a not 100 percent reliable force on their side in an important ring like Gyumri during the pre-election period.

They will try to hold those elections in order to strengthen themselves there. It will also be the "prime experiment" before any national elections.

It will be a testing ground for some technologies, how the political forces, traditional and extra-parliamentary oppositions will hold their own.

This will be a monitoring of the state of the political forces, including the government, before the extraordinary or regular elections," adds the civil technologist.

Hakobyan is sure that elections in Armenia will work only if they reflect the situation on the street.

He emphasizes that, unfortunately, the post-election developments in Armenia are not carried out by the opposition, but by the government, changing the situation in the places where it lost.

Around our country, from the point of view of the neighbors, passions regularly flare up, but it turns out that in this situation, the political team operating in Armenia is exclusively engaged in the task of strengthening and making its own power continuous, for example, it is not concerned that the economy is in free fall, security there are many problems, there is no field where we will not find at least one problem.

"The authorities of Armenia have had a problem since coming to power. It was assumed that this power was given to them temporarily as a result of a geopolitical consensus, so that the Artsakh issue could be resolved peacefully under the guise of high legitimacy within the framework of the Madrid principles.

The government of Armenia knew this, that's why Nikol Pashinyan and his close circle set themselves the task of getting rid of that temporary status.

The task of the latter was to "kick out" those who temporarily brought them to power, and to make the power from temporary to permanent.

Their task was to maintain power as long as possible, at the cost of territorial concessions or other sacrifices. As a result, Artsakh was not surrendered peacefully, but through war.

After all, it was Nikol Pashinyan who said that the result would have been the same, but without the victims," says the civil technologist.

According to him, it is obvious that the geopolitical situation is quite complicated even today. "However, it is more or less related to Armenia.

A possible war in the Middle East will be directly related to Armenia, it will be involved in it as a territory.

Armenia will become a relay flag for various interested forces as territory, factor and currency. I do not think that serious developments are expected in Georgia.

If after the elections the opposition was not able to generate enough resources to challenge the election results, if the opposition did not receive serious support from the West, and in fact it did not, because the statements were quite mild, etc., so I do not think that the post-election developments there will gain new momentum. :

There is a certain balance of power there, I think that there are quite active behind-the-scenes processes, negotiations with the government, one or two poles of the opposition.

There is also the intervention of the West, they will come to some kind of consensus. There is also the uncertainty factor of the US presidential election.

This same factor also affects the further escalation of the Middle Eastern processes, in particular, the possible confrontation between Iran and Israel," our interlocutor notes.

Expresses an opinion: in this situation, how should the Armenian authorities deal with the development of the same economy when they are not competent?

"Politically, they have a capitular position, for them there is no value that cannot be surrendered for the sake of power. They are not competent to solve any issue, either professionally, voluntarily or in human qualities.

Not adequate to the developments taking place in the world today. In the case of the same economy, what we have today are processes taking place by gravity, independent of the will of the authorities.

Today, the economy is in recession. So-called "economic growth" based on external factors has come and gone. This government is not competent to solve issues, especially in difficult situations, because today's government is a collection of random people, because they were chosen not because of their knowledge, but because they were close to one or another ruling clan.

Now the filtering continues, and they are trying to bring into the government only those who are devoted to CP and the elite. It does not surprise me that Nikol Pashinyan and the rest are only engaged in riding bicycles because they cannot do anything else, they understand that nothing depends on them, nobody in the outside world cares what the authorities say. They can pat him on the shoulder, pat him on the head, say a couple of sweet things, treat him to coffee, but when it comes to, for example, financial and political support, restraining the enemy, nothing is done beyond words.

Those who try to live by crawling, have no value system, no red lines, can't get respect anywhere.

"Alpha-male" political leaders are returning to politics today. Now imagine how they should look at the attitude of today's authorities in Armenia," concludes Vigen Hakobyan.
