Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Gnel Sanosyan referred to the progress of the construction of the North-South road project during the preliminary discussions of the 2025 draft law on the state budget at the joint session of the NA committees.
According to "Armenpress", the minister emphasized that 2023 was the main active construction period, when works started in several sections, including for the first time in the south, in the Kajaran-Agarak section.
The minister noted that in 2025 it is planned to continue the current works, to finish some sections, and also to involve new sections in the program.
We can finally state that the North-South road from Yerevan to Gyumri will be completely ready in 2025," he said.
