Court decisions should be made exclusively by people, despite technological progress, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"Court decisions affect people's destinies and must be made by people, despite technological advances.
Only humans can see, feel and understand the finer details of things. These are the most precise and subtle details that the court takes into account. These are only the characteristic qualities of people, based on their experience, general culture, intuition and character," the head of state said at a meeting of judges of courts of general jurisdiction, arbitration courts and military courts.
Putin emphasized that the sense of justice and humanity often determines the outcome of legal disputes.
