Cuba will continue to adhere to its chosen path, despite the tightening of the blockade by the United States. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez Parilla, during the negotiations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov.
"We will continue, as before, resolutely moving forward in the defense of Cuba's independence and sovereignty. We will maintain the path chosen by our country and continue to look for effective solutions for our economy. We will continue to work towards its restoration and will always be ready for a respectful dialogue with any country on equal terms," he noted.
"Today, the Cuban people are greatly suffering from great difficulties, but they are fully aware of the underlying causes of these economic difficulties and they stand together and united," Rodríguez Parilla added.
