Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has stated that US President Donald Trump will not be able to destroy the Islamic Republic, as the previous American leaders could not do it.
"The US president said that the US could not destroy the Islamic Republic for 47 years. This is a good confession. I say that you won't be able to either," he said on IRIB TV during a meeting with the people of Iran.
Khamenei added that even the "strongest army", which the Americans consider theirs, can receive a blow from which it will not be able to recover.
"Of course, the aircraft carrier is a dangerous weapon, but the weapon that can send that aircraft carrier to the bottom of the sea is more dangerous than the aircraft carrier," he emphasized.
