Russia is in contact with its oil buyers, but the situation is complicated by Ukraine's position, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, commenting on the situation related to the supply of oil to Hungary.
"We see that, of course, Ukraine uses some energy blackmail against EU member Hungary. We are in contact with buyers, but the situation is complicated by this position," Peskov told reporters, answering the question whether Russia is considering increasing oil supplies to Hungary via Croatia.
Earlier, Reuters, referring to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, reported that the transit of Russian oil through the Ukrainian section of the Druzhba pipeline to Eastern Europe has been suspended since January 27.
