The second round of indirect talks between Iran and the US on Iran's nuclear program began in Geneva on Tuesday, according to Iran's state-run IRIB TV channel. "Indirect negotiations between Iran and the US have started with the exchange of messages," the message states.
The Iranian delegation is headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, and the American delegation is headed by the special envoy of the US President, Steve Wittkoff. The previous round of negotiations, which was held in the capital Muscat with the mediation of Oman, took place on February 6.
This was the first dialogue between the two sides after a months-long hiatus since the opening phase of the Iran-Israel conflict in June 2025.
