The Godfather and Apocalypse Now Star Robert Duvall Dies

American actor Robert Duvall, winner of the "Oscar" award, died at the age of 95, reports CNN.

Duvall is best known for his roles in The Godfather and The Godfather 2, where he played Tom Hagen, a Corleone family advisor and attorney. He also starred in Apocalypse Now, where he played Lt. Col. Kilgore, famous for his catchphrase, "I love the smell of napalm in the morning."

Duvall was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe 6 times, played in more than 130 films, creating various characters.
