The Palestinian Authority, through the Arab League (PLO), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the UN Security Council, is seeking sanctions against Israel in response to the Jewish state's decision to annex Palestinian territories in the West Bank, Palestinian Deputy Foreign Minister Omar Awadallah told RIA Novosti.
"We have already started actions in the UN Security Council, there will also be a session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and we will be proactive in these areas. We will take all measures to counter it," the source of the agency said.
According to him, the issues of retaliatory measures against Israel are also discussed at the level of permanent representatives of the Arab League in Cairo.
