Ending the conflict in Ukraine will make the world a better place, and its continuation will benefit no one, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Monday.
"We will continue to do everything within our power to try to end this conflict in Ukraine.
And if we succeed, I think the world will be a better place. And if we fail, then, unfortunately, it will not benefit anyone," Rubio said at a joint press conference with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Budapest, talking about US efforts to settle the conflict in Ukraine.
