The UK will deploy an aircraft carrier strike group in the North Atlantic and the High North by 2026. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced this while speaking at the Munich Security Conference.
"Today I can announce that the UK will deploy an aircraft carrier strike group to the North Atlantic and High North this year, led by the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales, operating alongside the US, Canada and other NATO countries.
This will be a powerful demonstration of our commitment to Euro-Atlantic security," the British Prime Minister said.
