US President Donald Trump plans to build the tallest triumphal arch in the world in Washington, reports CNN, citing a source familiar with the project.
"The arch will be 165 feet (about 50 meters) high and 165 feet wide, with a 25-foot (about 7.5 meters) plinth and a large 60-foot (about 18 meters) gold-covered bronze Statue of Liberty," the TV channel reports a source.
Thus, the total height of the structure will reach more than 75 meters, which makes it the second tallest building in the capital of Washington, behind the 169-meter George Washington Monument.
