The meeting of Nikol Pashinyan who arrived in Kirants today, on May 25, did not go smoothly. The villagers accused Pashinyan of not being able to negotiate so that the territories belonging to the village do not pass to Azerbaijan. Pashinyan showed a map and said that the border demarcation is carried out with these maps. , in response to which the resident of Kirants said that Armenia was never guided by that map, why is Pashinyan pushing that map forward.
Pashinyan tried to convince that these maps have legal force, to which the residents responded that they did not believe.
"Will you and your family come and live in these wagons? Let's go and live in your house?" one of the residents asked Pashinyan, to which Pashinyan replied that a 16 million plan is being prepared to build a house.
Pashinyan also announced that lawyers will come who will explain the legal basis of those maps, to which the residents responded indignantly that they do not need to explain, they just need to not hand over the homeland: "Whoever you give my homeland to, you will give me my father's grave, you are stealing my homeland, my father's grave." after all, my homeland is where my father planted a sapling.
