Japan's ruling party, led by Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, won the parliamentary elections.

In Sunday's lower house election, the ruling alliance of Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and Japan's Restoration Society could win two-thirds of the seats, securing a constitutional majority.
