North Korea launched a ballistic missile. This is reported by the Yonhap agency, referring to the Committee of the Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Korea. According to the agency, the launch was carried out in the direction of the Sea of Japan.
The Ministry of Defense of Japan also informed about the alleged launch of a ballistic missile by the DPRK, Kyodo agency reports.
According to the Japan Coast Guard, it is expected to fall 300 km west of Okushiri Island near Hokkaido.
