"He was not a complaining, grumbling type, he kept everything inside himself." junior sergeant Aghvan Aslamazyan died on October 16 in Hadrut. "Fact"

"Fact" daily writes:

Aghvan was born in Darpas village of Lori marz. The mother, Mrs. Irina, remembers her son's childhood and says that he was a very active child.

"He was full of life, he had a different character, he was a different kind of child. He communicated with the little ones like a little one, with the big ones like the big ones.

Whoever you ask about Aghvanis will say the same thing," Mrs. Irina told "Past".

Aghvan studied at Darpas secondary school. As they often say, he was capable but lazy. School and studies were on one side, his main interest was sports.

He was a karate practitioner, he was more engaged in his favorite sport." Aghvan has participated in many competitions both in Armenia and abroad.

He has many medals, which are proof of his dedication to his favorite sport. And in the karate-do passport, all his achievements are carefully noted.

Today, it has become an important thing like a relic for the family. According to his mother, he intended to get married after returning from the army. "He had a girlfriend, and his goal was to get married soon after he was discharged from the army. I don't know why he decided that way." Aghvan was drafted into the army in 2019. on January 8.

Served in Sisian. "He was conscripted into service with a wonderful attitude, he is happy to leave, and he completed his service in the same way. I never worried about him in the sense that I was sure he would do well in the army.

His commander told later that if the soldiers did not understand each other even a little, Aghvan would approach, talk, he was the one who reconciled everyone.

When we asked him about the service, Aghvans did not tell us anything, he only said that the army is for a boy, I will serve, I will come. I'm sure he saw difficulties, but he didn't tell us anything, he wasn't the complaining, grumbling type, he kept everything inside himself." The fact that Aghvan was an outstanding soldier is also clear from his activeness in army life.

During his service, he was awarded the badges "Excellent of the Armenian Army", "Best Soldier-Athlete", "Brave Warrior". Aghvan, serving in Sisian, finds himself in Artsakh, in one of the hottest spots of the war, in Hadrut. "On September 27, his 20th birthday was coming up.

Before the start of the war, they took their positions in Nakhijevan. On September 26, they were demoted. They had not said a word about taking Hadrut.

I also sent him money to celebrate his birthday with the boys. He told me that he bought everything, the boys even sent me a video." But on September 27, a war broke out in Artsakh. On October 9, junior sergeant Aghvan Aslamazyan and his fellow soldiers were transferred to Hadrut. "I was talking to him, he said: Dear Aghvan, you will be careful. "Mom, don't be afraid, we are going to kill a couple of Turks and come back." He had no idea where he was going, but there was no fear inside." On October 16, Aghvan was immortalized in Hadrut.

"Aghvans was already at home in a few days. They were with two friends, both of them were injured. They were transported by helicopter, one child died, the other boy survived.

My son was whole, there was not a single scratch on his body, I even wondered what he died of and how. Then they already told us that as a sergeant, Aghvans saved the lives of many boys, he didn't let them rush forward, endanger themselves, but, as a senior in rank, he was in front."

In this war, Mrs. Irina lost not only her son, but also her brother. "My brother also died in the war, both were conscripts. My brother was also in Jrakan. In the case of my brother, his bones reached us. My father doesn't even believe that he died, he thinks that my brother is alive." Now Aghvan is in his native village, in Darpas. The mother says she wanted her son to be close to her. Mrs. Irina lost her husband a year ago. Now there are mother and daughter in the family, one is the support and strength of the other.

"It's hard, but what can I do? I am powerless in this case. Now my daughter gives me strength to be strong, to fight, to live. My daughter also takes the absence of her brother very hard, she doesn't express herself, she cries secretly from me so that I don't see her tears.

He knows how attached I was to Aghvan.

He also knows that I live with him now. I tell her, you are both my Aghvan and my Christine." H. C. - Junior Sergeant Aghvan Aslamazyan was posthumously awarded the "Combat Service" medal by the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, a certificate of honor from the Ministry of Defense for the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, as well as for defending the state borders of the Republic of Armenia at the cost of his life. He is buried in Darpas village cemetery.
