Israel must stop the operation in Rafah. International Court of Justice

The International Court of Justice in The Hague on May 24 made a decision on the cessation of military operations in the Gaza Strip at the request of South Africa. The ruling, which was read by a judge representing Lebanon, said the situation in Rafah had worsened since the start of the operation, necessitating a change to previous orders. which could adversely affect the civilian population of the city.” The court also demanded that Israel immediately open border crossings with Egypt to allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza. As well as taking effective steps to ensure the access of any UN commission investigating the allegations of genocide to the Gaza Strip. Israel had previously warned that it would not comply with any decision demanding an end to the war. The Israeli Air Force was actively attacking Hamas facilities in Rafah.
