From the third day I realized that we were losing. This was announced by the second president of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, in an interview with "Channel 5".
"On the second day I was in Karabakh and what I saw within 1-2 days convinced me that we will lose this war. I stayed in Artsakh for two weeks and every day I tried to urge Araik Harutyunyan through Bako Sahakyan to do everything to stop the war. It was obvious that we were losing. Even despite my attitude towards Araik Harutyunyan, I offered to meet. I had a clear plan from the point of view of implementing the defense," he said.
According to him, Arayik Harutyunyan refused to meet with him and conveyed through Bako Sahakyan that if he meets with Kocharyan, Nikol Pashinyan will eat him.
