At the European Youth Weightlifting Championship held in Durres, Albania, Armenia's representative, girls' 77 kg Anna Amroyan, won a bronze medal in the double event with a result of 228 kg, and a small silver medal in the push exercise (98+130).
The senior European vice-champion in the snatch successfully performed only the first approach, with which he lifted 98 kg. In the next attempts, he failed 101 and 102 kg. Amroyan is 4th in this exercise.
In the push exercise, Amroyan lifted 126 kg, then 130 kg. The 133 kg ordered for the third approach failed.
