On October 10, 2024, the representatives of the human rights defender of the Republic of Armenia and the human rights commissioner of the Russian Federation made a joint visit to the temporary detention center for foreign citizens of the main department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in Moscow.

During the visit, the representatives of the ombudsmen met with the citizens of the Republic of Armenia living in the territory of the Russian Federation without permission and waiting for readmission. During the private talks, the citizens of Armenia raised the importance of proper medical care, including the provision of medicines, personal hygiene, and keeping close relatives apart from each other. related and other issues.
The representatives of the ombudsmen discussed the raised issues with the head of the center on the spot. The latter instructed the representatives of the administration to take immediate measures to solve the recorded problems.
