Around 8:25 p.m., operational information was received at the Kotayk Department of the Community Police Department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs that a citizen had been robbed in the city of Abovyan.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, 23-year-old Astghik T., a resident of Kotayk region, told the operatives of the Kotayk police department that a while ago, an unknown person pulled his gold chain from his neck on Hatisi street in Abovyan city and stole it.
The victim also said that he probably knows the thief, because he works in the store and was his customer, and he suffered about 300,000 drams of material damage.
Documents were drawn up in the Kotayk police department regarding the incident, which were transferred to the Abovyan investigative department of the Kotayk regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee.
