On October 9, the "Gavar" Medical Center reported that around 11 p.m. a 24-year-old resident of Artsruni Brothers Street in Gavar sought medical help with a diagnosis of "puncture-cut wounds of the abdomen and chest." Doctors assessed his condition as serious.
The victim told the criminal police of Gegharkunik and the community police of Gavar that he got the injury as a result of falling from the horse on the irons, which, however, did not inspire faith in the law enforcement officers.
Criminal proceedings were initiated in the Gegharkunik Marz Investigation Department.
During the implementation of the operative information received in the Gegharkunik Regional Department of the Criminal Police with the officers of the Community Police Department of Gavar, it was found that the 24-year-old man was injured on Boshnaghyan Street in Gavar City, where he was stabbed by a 27-year-old man from Andranik Street during an argument.
On October 10, a public criminal prosecution was initiated against him.
As a result of further measures, on October 14, the criminal police of Gegharkunik found the stabber in Abovyan street of Sevan city and arrested him.
According to the decision of the court, detention was chosen as a preventive measure against him.
The circumstances are clarified by the preliminary investigation.
