The United States specifically published secret documents with intelligence information about Israel's plans to prepare a retaliatory strike against Iran in pursuit of its goals. This opinion was expressed by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, elite units of the Iranian Armed Forces) Ali Fadavi.
“They [the United States] publish it themselves. If there was a document, the Americans actually published it.
If this had any goals, then it has no connection with ours,” he said in response to a question from an ILNA correspondent about the leak of secret documents with Israeli plans.
Commenting on rumors about Israel’s constant threats to attack Iranian territory, the deputy commander-in-chief of the IRGC noted that the Jewish state “has been saying for more than 20 days that it wants to do this,” but now the Islamic republic is ready for an attack “like never before.”
The United States is investigating the leak of highly classified intelligence documents about Israel's plans to retaliate against Iran.
Documents classified as “top secret”, dated October 15 and 16, began to circulate on the Internet after their publication in the Middle East Spectator Telegram channel.
On October 24, the British newspaper The Times, citing sources, reported that the leak of plans for an Israeli retaliatory strike on Iran forced the Israeli authorities to postpone the operation.
