Georgian President Mikheil Kaqvevili has announced that he has made a choice in the municipal elections in favor of peace, development and stability.
"I will be honest with the society. It was an easy choice for me. We know that on one side there is peace, development and stability, but on the other hand, unfortunately there is disorder, confrontation and polarization. I am confident that our society will not have difficulty in making choices, "Kavelousvili told reporters after voting in Tbilisi polling station.
Before Kavazvina Ivanadze, Honorary President of the ruling Georgian Dream and Democratic Party, Mayor of Tbilisi and Candidate of the Georgian Capital Candidate Shaha Kaladze, Chairman of the Georgian Capital Candidate and Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
On October 4, local elections are held in Georgia. Citizens elect the members of the five self-government cities, Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Rustavi and Poti, as well as members of 64 city councils (Sakrebulos).
