EU leaders will discuss possible punishages against Israel in Copenhagen, Politico European edition reports, citing a high-ranking diplomat.
According to him, European leaders will meet without their advisers and officials, which means that they will be able to discuss the issues that differ.
Joint statement of EU leaders is also not expected after the informal summit. The high-ranking diplomat told Politico that European leaders will also discuss possible sanctions against Israel, although this issue is not on the official agenda.
The leaders of the EU and governments will be collected on Wednesday in Copenhagen. A session of the European Political Community will be held there on Thursday.
