On October 24, at 14:16, the crisis management center of Vayots Dzor Regional Rescue Department received an alert that an accident occurred on the 1st km of the road section from Jermuk intersection to Vayk city, a truck with a trailer overturned.
One combat unit from the fire-rescue squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs went to the scene.
It was found that on the 146th km of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, the Mercedes-Benz truck (driver: R. K., born in 1980, loaded with solar panels, about 28 tons) overturned. the highway has become a one-way street.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the car was cut off by the local forces.
The rescuers carried out road washing works. Special equipment is needed to fix the car.
