The United States has first deployed to South Korea, MQ-9 Reaper Drones

For the first time, the US Armed Forces deploy the Republic of Korea for the squadron of MQ-9 Reaper drones, said the 7th US Air Force.

On September 28, Lieutenant Colonel Douglas Slater took over the 431st expedition intelligence squadron, which was full of MQ-9 Reaper. The ceremony took place in the Kunsan Academy of Kunsan.

The US Armed Forces note that this serial number in the US Air Force has previously owned the Second World War II. The 431st fighter squadron was established in 1943. "It is a great honor of writing along with our Korean allies [in the history of this subdivision] the next chapter," Slater said.
