Turkey discusses deals with US President Donald Trump, not his son. The accusations of "bargaining" around the Gaza Strip are unfounded, said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, RIA Novosti reported.

A few days ago, the son of the US president, Donald Trump Jr., met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during an unannounced visit to Istanbul.

The President of the Republican People's People's Party of Turkey called the talks "secret" and stressed that the discussion was focused on the Palestinian issue, which is one of the most sensitive issues in the region. Ozel insists that Erdogan is simply criticized by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, while avoiding a public statement about Donald Trump. According to him, Trump "is the general sponsor of the conflict in the region."

"Ozel was with us at this meeting. Don't you believe it? That man invents something constantly. We do not ask Ozel's opinion when we go to planes or such things. He doesn't understand anything about it, "Erdogan said.
