The US government terminates the sale of certain types of weapons to European countries to replenish its own reserves, reports The Atlantic, citing sources.
According to them, in early September, Deputy Defense Minister Elbridge Colbin told the State Department that he did not see a number of military supplies to foreign countries. In particular, he did not approve of the sale of Patriot anti-aircraft missile missile systems, as the United States himself lacks them.
Atlantic sources have confirmed that the Pentagon has made a list of deficiency weapons systems and plans to block their sales from European allies.
Duration of the ban, the amount of goods included in the list and the expansion potential not revealed.
