A recurring magnetic storm has started on earth

Double growth of geomagnetic activity was registered after Moscow's night silence after three to six in the morning. This was reported by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Institute of Space Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IKI RAAS) in its Telegram.

The magnetic storm of the G1 level is quite moderate, and in the near future no disorders are not observed, the publication is mentioned.

According to scientists, individual moderate and weak storms will be considered in the coming days. This situation will continue for 2-3 days if there are no significant changes in the speed of solar wind.

According to IKI RAS, the speed of solar wind continues to grow, exceeding the 750 km / s critical mark. Such wind growth can lead to magnetic field growth and provoke a level of 2-3 new storms.

The laboratory noted that on Monday, September 15, the strongest magnetic storm over the country has been observed on the Earth. It was close to the level of G3.
