The Latvian Ministry of Defense has stated that it will be closed at a dark time near Russia and Belarus until October 8.
"Continuing the restrictions between Belarus and Russia in the airspace of Latvia from September 18 to October 8, from 20:00 to 07:00 (Moscow time)," the statement said.
On September 11, Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spuruds stated that the airspace of the republic will be closed along the Eastern Border with Belarus and Russia. On the same day, the Polish Air Transport Agency imposed restrictions on flights along the border with Belarus and Ukraine.
