French authorities will use armored vehicles and water miles to maintain order during the September 18 mass protests to protest against saving events, Acting Minister of Internal Affairs Bruno Retayo said on Wednesday.
Many demonstrations are expected in France on Thursday after the call for trade unions. Representatives of different professions will take part, including employees of education, healthcare, transport, energy and other spheres. About 800,000 people are expected to join the protests.
"We will respond to the mass deployment of resources and clear instructions. The mass deployment of resources means more than 80,000 police and gendarme, technical equipment such as drones, as well as 24 "Kentavir" car.
"These are the armored cars of national gendarmerie, which allow us to counteract the most serious riots, disorders, and so on. We will also install 10 water lines, "said Retailo on BFMTV.
