Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump will take part in the 47th summit of Southeast Asian Association (Asian) in Kuala Lumpur, Bernama reports, citing Malaysian Prime Minister FREE Ibrahim.
The head of the cabinet also noted that Brazilian leader Lula Davila and President of the Republic of South Africa, Syrely Ramafoss, also confirmed their participation in the Association Summit.
Asian was founded in 1967 and is currently united by ten countries of Southeast Asia, Brunei, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Philippines. From the beginning of 2025, the presidency of Asian passed from Laos to Malaysia.
