The ruling Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) should apply to the armed struggle in case of aggression. This was stated by the President of the Republic of Bolivarian Nicolas Maduro at the Congress of the Youth Wing of the PSU and Party on Venezolana de Television.
"In the case of aggression against Venezuela, the American imperialism, which unites the political, social and cultural circles of the Venezuela, must immediately pass to the armed of the armed of the struggle," Maduro said.
He stressed that the Venezuelan people will never agree to capitulate and a consistent struggle for the right to sovereignty, independence and the state's development.
Maduro reminded of the implementation of Venezuela's active protection, "Active Resistance and Permanent Assault" program, as well as the deployment of operative measures of the Armed Forces throughout the country for comprehensive protection.
