Nepal police have fired 15 warning shots after the rebels tried to attack the prison in Morang district, no one was injured, Khabarhub reported.
"The police opened fire after the crowd tried to invade Mortang prison, where more than 1,100 detainees are stored," the portal writes.
According to the cobbles, the disrespect attacked the institution, chanting calls for the release of prisoners. Police have fired 15 warning shots before the crowd dropped. A military detachment was sent to protect the area.
At the end of last week, the Nepal authorities blocked a number of large social networks that were not registered within the period set at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies.
