The British Royal Navy's "Princet Off Wells" carrier held military exercises in international waters south of South Korea, Yohap news agency reported, citing the British Embassy in Seoul.
F-35B planes were involved in the exercise. The air carrier can accommodate up to 24 such fighter. Exercise included "Display of Aviation Opportunities".
The British Ambassador to Seoul noted that the exercise has shown the level of cooperation with the United Kingdom with the Republic of Korea and the readiness of London to "deepen our strategic partnership" in the region's security architecture. "
The carrier has about 700 staff and can accommodate up to 1,600 servicemen.
