The death toll from the attack in Jerusalem has reached five, and seven people were taken to hospitals in critical condition, the Israeli ambulance service (MDA) said.
Earlier it was reported about four deaths.
"The death of a 50-year-old woman was approved in the hospital, which was evacuated in critical condition. MDA groups provided medical care and evacuated in Jerusalem hospitals 12 victims, seven of whom are in critical condition, "said MDA statement.
According to the state broadcaster Kan, two armed men sat on Monday morning and opened fire on the passengers on the Ramot Crossroads of Jerusalem.
The Israeli police said the terrorists were killed on the spot. The state broadcaster reported that the attackers entered Israel from the Palestinian Kuwaiti and Kuwaian villages of the West Bank.
The police closed all the checkpoints near Jerusalem.
