The Ambassador of India believes that the Putin-Modi meetings will contribute to the development of ties between the two countries

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will strengthen relations between the two countries, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Moscow Vinay Kumar told reporters within the framework of the Moscow International Book Fair.

Answering a question about the development of bilateral contacts between Moscow and New Delhi, the diplomat noted that the relations "certainly improves".

He reminded that in 2024 the first visit of Modi to Russia has been held since 2019, "and this year several visits were at the ministerial level."

"Our leaders met at the SCP summit in the city of Tyeans, China," the ambassador said. "And we are looking forward to President Putin's next visit to India at the end of this year."

"Thus, of course, they will strengthen bilateral contacts," said Vina Kumar.
