The countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) called on efforts to strengthen the institution of the family and prevent the involvement of young people in illegal activities. This is stated in the text of the final declaration of the summit in the Tyeanis.
"Member States reaffirming their commitment to the rights of women and children, including the protection of education, healthcare, social and legal protection, and inadmissibility of discrimination, protect the ties between women's associations as an important field of SCO activities."
They consider it necessary to hold regular forums, congresses and women's meetings, as well as to form a mechanism of cooperation between the relevant structures of the SCO member states, "the document reads.
It states that the organization's countries, "emphasizing the importance of establishing the conditions for the safe development of the young generation and reducing the risks of its involvement in illegal activities, will contribute to the further strengthening of youth cooperation."
