The presidency of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) 2025-2026 will pass from China to Kyrgyzstan, RIA Novosti, Assistant to the Russian President Yuri Ushakov told reporters.
"In 2025-2026, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will chair the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. Naturally, we will cooperate closely with our Kyrgyz colleagues and, if necessary, will support them in every possible way, "Netakov said.
The summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will take place in the city of Tyeanzin, China from August 31 to September 1. After its completion, the chairmanship of the organization will take over Kyrgyzstan.
