The Prime Minister of Canada Mark Karni told the X social network that he arrived in Kiev.
"On this day of Ukraine's independence, Canada strengthens its support and efforts to establish fair and lasting peace in Ukraine," Karni said.
According to the 24th channel, this is the first visit of the Prime Minister of Canada to Ukraine.
The Prime Minister of Canada and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrei Sibekan and the Chief of Staff of the President Andrei were met at the station.
Earlier, Karni stated that from August 25 to 27, 2025, Poland, Germany and Latvia will visit Poland.
